Slack app

See how a message will land before you send it

Pick any message and Decodeme tells you how it is likely to be received: its tone, its intent, where it could create friction, and how to say it better. You stay in Slack the whole time.

Free to install. Running an analysis needs a Decodeme account.

How it works

  1. 1. Install it in your workspace

A workspace admin adds Decodeme in one click. Nothing to configure afterwards.

  2. 2. Choose a message

Hover any message and pick “Analyze with Decodeme”, or type /decodeme followed by the text you are about to send.

  3. 3. Read it before they do

You get the tone, the intent, the points of friction and concrete rewrites. Only you see the result.

It cannot read your conversations

That is not a promise in a policy, it is what the app is able to do. Decodeme asks for no permission to read channel history and receives no message events.

  • The only text it ever sees is the text you submit, one message at a time.
  • Every result is private to the person who asked for it.
  • Removing the app deletes its tokens and every linked session with it.
  • Submitted text is processed by Microsoft Azure OpenAI under Decodeme's agreement, which does not use it to train models.
